My best guess is that Adonis and Doroka are parallel versions of the MC from Caliburn and Doretha. And Doretha I guess is trying to reunite with the lost love through him?

This manga ready makes you think twice as to what you just read. Not its first time either.
Unexpected twist is unexpected. I would be lying if I deny my confusion as to what is the purpose of witch hunt other than being yandere op witch on the hunt to catch mc and the destroying of world is just whatever to her.
