This series is so great. Besides the fantastic story, I want to give kudos to the scanlators. The scene with Kanade & Li Zixuan - a Japanese girl & Chinese girl having to rely on their ESL skills to communicate - was very believable.

Now, I wonder what Kanade is going to do to fire up her performance one more time?

@SuperOniichan oh, well, Akito has always been more of less expressionless, aka "Resting bitch face" (lol) so I had a feeling he wouldn't make the cut to advance as he's not as extroverted as the competitor before him. I face this issue too when my face looks like -_- 100% of the time but what I'm feeling inside could be totally different. It gets annoying when people keep asking if you're unhappy or constantly telling you to smile smh

You should consider reading this manga. The scanlator translates a volume every couple of months so when the break starts, you could catch up. I've always wanted a ballet sports anime or manga so this is a good read if you enjoy ballet, sports animanga, or just bored lol.

@faniki Oh, how familiar this is to me! I am a very quick-tempered person, but at the same time my facial expressions are rather poor even for an ordinary person. Perhaps this is somehow connected in the collaboration of the northern and southern roots in my genes, lol. Thanks for the advice, I will try when I have the right mood.

i actually like the imperfect english here and there, it's more realistic because we know she is not fluent
but man, this is so HYPE, i literally breezed through all the chapters

The Engrish is on purpose folks. It's to illustrate the fact that they don't have full command of the language yet. Particularly Li Zixuan.
