@neorasp That could partially come from a non-Judeo-Christian approach to deities. Coming from a culture that originally had a host of deities with authorities ranging from regional to heavenly, "royalty" is probably a good description of how a god is. Plus it's hard to get to grandiose when all you can do is give one order a day. There will be suffering later when he is forced to watch something terrible happen later and can't do jack all to stop it. You can't have this sort of setup without that outcome occurring eventually.

All that aside, they haven't really reacted to the content of his prophecy, just regurgitated it. So I'm not sure why he's so excited.
