You don't have to worry about her, she dotes on the mc and treats her like her own daughter if i remember right from the spoilers, her and the emperor are more in a working marriage, no love there so she didn't care if he had another, since i'm spoiling anyway, the emperor did in fact love the mc's mom, but the mom was never sure because well, his way of expressing himself should make that obvious.
