There seem to alot of people that really disagrees with the priest, but all in all its probably the best solution.
We only see the story from the perspective of 'the royal family' and those close to them, not much of the ordinary citisens life and day to day struggles.
Would you sacrifice 1 persons happiness to save thousands, or refuse that option and let a whole kingdom suffer?
