Though, some stories leave a lot to be desired when it comes to the climax.

Before Lu can go to the "Heroine", Sera makes an appearance and basically says "You're trespassing. You injured a sacred/holy beast. I could legally kill you all, and there is nothing the kingdom could do even if they wanted to. Leave now, while I still spare your lives." For some reason, the heroine takes this personally, and this leads to more trouble later on.
