I figured it was something like that. The title and the feel of everything at the start reminded me of The Rite of Spring, for some reason (even though the latter is of a different culture and climate).

Anyway, the art is amazing, the characters are interesting enough, and the premise is new to me. I'm looking forward to more of this.
