I mean, frankly, from what we've seen so far , it really is only a difference of what is considered strength. Demons worship physical strength, wealth, and beauty, whereas humans worship wealth, beauty, and political strength.

Very true. I honestly was intrigued with the first two to three chapters. But after a while, and seeing how the MC handled that situation just now, I'm fully convinced that this is one of those manga that has naive MC who wants no bloodshed on either side when faced with literally deadly situation. Too naive.
