God's favorite child seems kind of lacking another woman is pressing up against her fiance and she's silent while a maid has to take care of it. And the prince can break off his engagement to a Dukes daughter because she insulted someone and that's not proper for a future Queen but he can't tell this woman to get off him because her breast are pressing into him and that's also inappropriate? Plus he also talks down on her, doing the same thing he said was the cause of breaking off his engagement.
Plus the difference between the personality of the current queen and Dorthy are levels different, how is she ever going to fill that position? Just because she's God's child what good is it if she doesn't know how to be a Queen, she'll have to study and take lessons but so far there's no real reason she's the future queen other than the prince likes her
And if MC is such a valuable person the Queen can't let go then why did they let the engagement fall through because she was publicly rude to the girl staying close to her fiance, even the other noble ladies agree with her actions and disliked Dorthy for being too frienly with him when she shouldn't have been. Surely having such a cunning and smart person running the nation is better than her using those abilities to be a maid?

@catbot158 Sora and Dora sound similar, I'm betting that since the MC partial screwed up the contract and was unable to be sent back, the god took pity and reincarnated Dorothy when her natural life as Sora ended. Remember, we already saw Sora as a married woman with a child in Chapter 1, so time may flow faster on Earth.

@JWChibi Yeah, the premise itself is weird, what with the whole "trade your life for your sister's life" deal that god offered, which is pretty messed up by itself because she saved her sister but still got separated from her (she only sees that she got married and had a kid, so at least the sister got "a happy life").

I guess being god's favored means you get to be innocent and useless, and the world provides for everything you are lacking. So she will be queen, but gets to be nice and not assert herself because the queen just appointed someone who can handle all the "mean" jobs, such as keeping women away from the useless prince. So likely Leffina will be the queen in all but name, and Dorothy will just be the stand-in that is loved by everyone.

The Prince is an idiot and weak minded(as you would expect.
The boy could not tell that insolent woman to back off and the woman he disliked had to help him.
Dorthy is just your regular doormat heroine with no Queen qualities.

No matter how you look at it, Mc got the short end of the stick and this story is poorly put together.

There's a sidestory from the ML's point of view that gives you everything that happens. You only need to skim it(novel updates spoiler forum has the links and info)

As you might guess this dumpster fire just gets more toxic and the MC just becomes just another Japanese MC that eats shit while saying how great it tastes

well forgot to drop the manga after reading the novel but I can fix that now
