Okay, so there’s a reason why the ‘servant’ has so much authority, since he’s the son of the mistress. I’m guessing he doesn’t have royal blood, given he has power but no fancy clothes.

The author is doing an excellent job making us hate both the Emperor/King & the [cue choir of raging fans] THOT! [silence] and her spawn—both of whom makes the princess look nice by way of comparison (does she think that she can get power for that little shit? Ironically, Roman rules for dudes is about as bad as the culture tropes for China—so, this story has some meaningful crossover). I REALLY am seeing how the male lead torches the place—if that's what actually happens. I can well imagine how the king's behavior sparks a war, just like how I'm expecting that other, grotesque thing doing the slime thing to be all repulsive.

That said, I'm expecting that the blonde will try to buy the princess.

I'm legit wondering when she'll but a fuck! CUT A BOICH, PRINCESS! FUCK THAT LITTLE WANKER UP REAL GOOD!
