honestly, it's not even the fact that he's mad, it's understandable that he's mad but he's just gotta act like he's part of the group on his second day trying to kick Elkin out and trying to force everyone else to join in his rant about northerners and attacking a random kid. I'm not sure of the age but I'm sure they're roughly the same age and we see in the flash back that he was just like ~8 maybe 10 when his parent died in the war so Elkin is the same age and thus you decided to yell at a guy that probably doesn't even remember much about the war but news about his family and others dying while bitching about how everyone accepts him....

At this point I think this just demonstrates how fundamentally as a person and his character is terrible. It's not wrong that he's mad at the Northerners but he's just bitching about it and as a person, is just a dick
