So quick something, we translated this gyaru's name 小山内 as Osanai. If there are any objections, or if you think it should be something else please let me know!
Damn, guys, you overdid with redrawing. That's top tier work. I'd prefer you not overdoing this. Leave sfx'es as is, just add a small translation by the side.
The whole "afraid of thunder" trope is so wild to me. Has there ever really been anyone above the age of 10 who was afraid of thunder? Maybe Roy Sullivan.
@DrHizzle In any hot country where rain is a rarity, yes. I'm from Egypt, and this reaction is just standard.
In Japan, rain would depend on the area but honestly, even with a lot of rain some people might get scared too.
Animal rights isn't a thing in Egypt, so stray dogs are just in every damn street, you pretty much grow up with them, and yet people develop Cynophobia anyway. My sister has cynophobia and we've always lived around dogs.
@yasashikakashi huh, I guess I never considered places that don't get many thunderstorms. I'm used to having thunderstorms pretty much every week where I live so they just seem like nothing.
Also developing a fear of dogs because you're always around feral dogs seems pretty reasonable to me, seeing as feral dogs and pet dogs have wildly different mannerisms.
@DrHizzle They're actually more like pitiful than anything. Legs chewed up, skinnier than a healthy pet dog and half as energetic, always looking like their ears are down and afraid of humans.
I feel sorry for them more than anything. They do bark randomly but generally they're harmless.
