The Treasured Sakura Tome - Ch. 53

lol ? He had no reason to fight them, but he did ? And then turn himself in at the end... has the author ran out of ideas now ?

I'm wondering why he hasn't tried to track down the assassin that he 'saved'; didn't he have a task to complete with her? Isn't he concerned that she will get herself killed by attempting another assassination of the two sisters if he leaves her alone too long? This is feeling like a video game where the 'hero' goes off to grind some experience until he's strong enough to take on a tough boss; actually, this is exactly like that. It's weird that he was just able to wander into a secret military training area without being spotted in the first place, though I suspect an explanation of sorts is forthcoming. Also, he really didn't need to fight those soldiers; he chose to because he's a violent narcissist, lol.
