In the previous chapter Rio was pretending to be Rika when she was trying to ensure or make Kurata and Rika are getting along.

The readers are confused because on last page, Rio says "nee-san" about her sister, and Rika's thoughts about Rio are as of "little sister".
It's confusing, because previous chapter Rio was calling Rika "little sister"
