Yea but what I'm saying is that they could have achieve the same if not similar effect by clamming lets say
that "after her death and betrayal she came to the realization her foolishness and now with her second chance at life she aims to change her fate"
That sort of thing you know.
I'm just saying the story would have been the same without a reincarnation subplot that's hardly mentioned and that has little foundation. In fact I kind of wish there was more to go off of.
That's not to say that this past life/reincarnation thing doesn't work to serve its purpose. Or that because of this small thing that I in any way dislike or don't appreciate the story.

@REDRED during her first life Cayena was merely a clueless puppet ended up being used and abandoned. I think her second life in the modern world played an important part as she saw her previous life explained through webnovel now she has better understanding of what's happening around Cayena and what the others are hiding (e.g. her brother's true intention, raphael's mysophobia)
