I have been wondering why the webtoon had been on hiatus after releasing less than 20 chapters, it felt too soon for a break, but reading now from your translation that the staff are located in Wuhan, it totally makes sens

I'm just as glad for him to escape castration if only because the "great you can play the woman's role now" stuff I'd expect to come after that would be so damn cringey.
(Whether castration actually is the great woe that people often assume it to be, I'm not as clear on. Like, a lot of the dogs and cats I've seen seem perfectly happy, and one would think if it was so horrible eunuchs wouldn't have been so much of a thing, though you never know with humans...)
