I think the point is for the otaku* to see the different facets of the gyaru. Showing that there's some depth to the gyaru beyond fucking hating the otaku to bits like the first five days.

*I hope we'll see his face, I'm not up for this POV business. Blushing otaku or bust.

Yeah this one feels more like a soulless fad-riding. The other one (These Two Will Get Married in 100 Days) at least tries to tell a proper story.
But still, 100 full-color paintings in 100 days is a respectable effort.
