This "Summon Kitchen" Skill Is Amazing! ~Amassing Points by Cooking in Another World~ - Vol. 2 Ch. 6

Man, it's a bit sad to see her so happy-go-lucky when the summoning screwed her over this much and her hosts are being assholes about it.

That said, it's satisfying to see her not give a flying f*ck about Pompous Bobcut-san.

@unime

No, it's a bit antiquated, but a woman was expected to have soft, dainty hands. And a man to have large, rough hands. It showed the kind of work one does. The former is someone to be protected, the latter is the one doing the protecting. He's a knight-san through and through. Over time it simply became the sort of thing a man looked for in a woman as an attractive trait - a woman who was rough from working was for lower-class men, where a soft woman who was dainty was a treasure to be desired and protected by a high-quality man. Similar to how asian women with small feet was a thing for a long time, a valued ideal.

It hasn't been that way in a long time which is probably why she doesn't realize that he's crushing on her now. I kind of hope she notices sooner than later, because she was the one to start crushing on him and now that he's reciprocating it seems like she's gone oblivious MC.

I keep thinking about the Japanese knife maker on YouTube and Hurst making knives out of milk and stuff. Thank you for the chapter!

so... santoku knives are the cooking equivalent to "glorious nippon steel katana" then?

The santoku sketch in both panels is wrong, but the “real” one is right. Did some assistant screw up?

Anyway, a santoku really is a useful all purpose chef’s knife. It’s not necessarily better than an all purpose western-style chef’s knife; comparable sizes accomplish the same tasks almost identically. But if you’re most familiar with one style, of course that’s what you’re going to like using best.

Honestly, I find that shaping and sharpening a santoku is a little easier than making a western chef’s knife, and I like that the spine is thicker through the length of the blade.

Something seemed so endlessly disturbing in that panel she was holding the knife happily. I just couldn't get one sentence out of my mind. "Nice boat."

Now she has a knife that she can bring out of her kitchen skill... Perfect assassin !

Ash is honestly such a tsundere dumbass type character that I love even if Hurts is totally my typeahhh
