i couldn't think of any noteworthy translation trivia, so here's a dumb tidbit from my translation process.

for some reason, i was really struggling to make the dialogue in this chapter sound natural, so i decided to throw translation fidelity out the door and write a script based purely on the 'emotions' of the lines. so, well, my first draft looked like this:

qing ke: hey fuck you in particular
qing ke: shen xin, let's go
shen xin: aaaaaaa save me pls
xiaoya: qing ke? the fuck you hiding from me for?
qing ke: not this bitch again

as you can tell none of this made it into the final script... but funnily enough, it did help me get out of my translator's block.
