@Xinser basically, anime changed the entire plot in season 2. then they decided to faithfully adapt :re but the pacing was very off. they adapted 179 chapters in 24 episodes. let me offer a comparison. Jujutsu Kaisen has 5 episodes adapted at the moment and they're still at chapter 10 of the manga
