One of the most cliche things in Anime. The protagonist is restrained away for the main conflict, forcing the story to be carried by the side characters. Only for the Night in shining amour(protagonist) to save the day once the going gets tough.

This manga probably isn’t gonna do this, but this arc just reminds me of that cliche.

@RichieOfAll literally. but I always end up loving the arcs that do this--
