It's because these young insecure gentlemen wanted to self insert into the male MC so they wanted him to look absolutely perfect without blemish whatsoever.

On the other hand for the female tsundere case, they like to fantasize that the girls IRL who hates them actually likes them similar with the tsundere heroines. I've seen an acquintance so delusional did that and it looks pitiful to be honest, he didn't understand that the girls are actually creeped out by him...
Guy: *did something creepy*
Girl: *genuinely creeped out and pissed off*
Guy: "She's just being tsundere, she's not actually angry."
Me: "... Actually, no. But whatever makes you happy dude..."

@Keetonman 100% agree with that. And honestly I feel like a lot of female tsunderes are just assholes instead of being endearing. There are of course some exceptions and some female tsunderes that I actually like. This guy is like the nicest person ever and always supportive of her and helping her out. The girl is preety cute too but so is the MC honestly. There's not a single person out there that wouldn't seem like a jerk if you could hear all their thoughts other than maybe a baby. And even his thoughts aren't that bad honestly and people are just overeacting.
