Humans have an average lifespan of 80 years, so Fel figured that he and Mukouda would only be together for a few decades at best.

Much to his chagrin, Mukouda later gets a small blessing from the God of All Creation, Demiurge and granted a lifespan equal to a high elf, which is about 1,500 years.

The wording is confusing but Fel is not talking about the time he has spent contracted but the time that he will spend contracted. His master's lifetime is considerably shorter than his own and so the contract as a servant he has entered in will in fact only amount to a few decades. He doesn't mind since it is not permanent, a very small portion of his life and it comes with perks.
