After reading the manga and the translated WN, I can't help but feel that MC is a little too stingy.
I get that he wants to set reasonable expectations and his "customers" seem satisfied with what he's been giving, but surely he can do a little better? He still thinks and acts like a grouchy cheapskate despite his relationships with the gods and his familiars being massively tilted in his favor.
I don't know, maybe I'm just a spoiled little bitch, but I find his attitude unpalatable.

Our good slime child is at the top of the food chain, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
That said, I feel like I would end up caving and spoiling the goddesses too. This is virtually free and the goddesses all react to the sweets with such delight. That in itself could compel me to feed them all sorts of things.

@Levanah Maybe it just you but I see nothing wrong with being stingy and save money. Spending money carelessly will make you an irresponsible person. And when a day comes that you need a large sum of money and then you may found out you spent most of it, it would be terrible. If I have a lot of money, I will put all of them in the bank and only use a small amount for daily necessities.

The Goddesses are a pain in the butt to Mudouka who only wants to live a quiet life. They're pushy, arrogant, unfeeling and greedy. I think the translated WN had Mukouda saying they were like kindergardeners, always going "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!". He holds all the cards though, he's the only one who can deliver Internet Supermarket offerings to them.

They demand offerings every week for motherfucking status immunity(making him impervious to disease), and a magic boost in addition to that. Come on man, that is worth way more than the few fucking silvers he has to spend every week. People IRL will pay billions for that kind of shit.

Hoarding up money without spending it is nihilistic, at that point you're just collecting metal and paper. I don't disagree with what you're saying, I think there's a very nice midpoint between our arguments, but given the completely broken powers the MC gets in return for a few silvers I think he can afford to act a little less Uncle Scrooge about his mountain of gold.
