Too bad it was axed, the whole story of the alliance of Pedro el Cruel and Edward the Black Prince is amazing. In one instance, Pedro was to marry Joan, one of the daughters of Edward III of England, but she contracted the plague on her way to Castile. The whole civil war between Pedro and Enrique was a proxy war of the Hundred Years' War, with England and France taking sides.
