The story is about a young male novelist who not good at this chosen profession. However things start to change when he chance upon the belongings of a dead author (which apparently include a cat). From then on his skills improves and he starts becoming popular. There was only a few chapters released but I appreciate if someone could point me to the right one. Thanks

It was in the modern era and the protagonist was a webnovel author. No suggestion that the protagonist had a system/reincarnated/transmigrated. I guess it is part fantasy since he appears to inherit the skills of the dead novelist but he himself is unaware of this. Example was his current novel was garbage but once he had the dead man belonging (laptop, glassess, cat) he was able to revise it within hours and earned the praises of his editor who previously despaired of his poor skills. He then went on to write a whole book worth in less than a day (a martial art novel) and the editor called to say they wanted to publish it and suggested they continue with new story arcs
There wasn't any particular defining physical trait. Only other main thing I can remember was he went to college to become a writer - all his fellow students had gone on to do others jobs except for one who did become a successful novelist who looked down on the MC.
