This arc was really weird, and really hit more isekai tropes than it should’ve. Kinda felt it missed the mark because they forgot their goal almost immediately and the story focused on enslavement and defeating the demon-person. This arc had some cool moments, but was basically underwhelming because nothing that happened in the fake world really affected their actual lives. Maybe he discovered a neat new trick, but the reward did not justify the journey (and the journey wasn’t worth it either way).

@firosahoge, well, I blitzed the entire series up until this point in two days so I unfortunately don't know how the people felt while waiting for this to end. Perhaps my opinion would be different if I was part of that group but I think I'd say that this arc overall was good.

Obvious outcome was obvious. She looked the same in the first place, and the glasses were the final giveaway.
But rushing through the ending so suddenly after all that long, drawn out torture chapter after chapter is just bad pacing.
More could have been done with that, but this isn't a fantasy manga in that sense, so it is probably better to get back to the main plot now.
