@chegginton lmao are you sure we’re reading the same manga? How did he not let her get close with other guys? He literally left her with the other guy so that he wouldn’t be third-wheeling them. It’s natural to be jealous and to want to keep the person you like close. He didn’t forcefully try to make her stay with him???? I seriously don’t know where u got that from.

The teasing can get a little out of hand, but they’re high school students, would you really expect adult maturity from a teen guy? Ayumu doesn’t even seem to be affected most of the time. He genuinely cares for her though and when he thought she was feeling depressed, he told her that she could rely on him. I see the teasing as more of playful banter, but I guess being melodramatic and calling it “emotional abuse” works too. whatever.
