@shanoc5902 Except the Demon Lord said he was correct and he figured out her plan exactly. The problem was that the big demon inadvertently gave the MC an out with Trial by Combat, and the Demon Lord didn't plan on that happening.

The regret of allowing Raisoku and Sanwan to live, and the peace with the demons was too much for him. So he decided to time travel into the past, kill Raisoku, instigate a fight with Sanwan and kill him without facing the repercussion. As for the present Kail, he got killed and replaced by his time traveling Kail. Its so obvious!
