Anyway, I like to imagine that there's like, 2 old guys in Japan who've had that poster sitting in their closets for 40 years, maybe rolled up in a tube and forgotten. Maybe there's another one taped on the inside of a closet, because it was getting sun-bleached when it was hanging on the wall in the 80's. Maybe it has a little water damage, but it's still good. Every now and then, its owner sees it and thinks, "I can't believe I still have this!", then shuts his closet after he retrieves whatever old shoes he had stored in there. Then Nora is forgotten for a few more months, but she abides. Nora, who became a meme waifu in the west in 2019, abides in an old Japanese man's closet in the form of a brittle-papered magazine poster from 1978.
