it's because of oneshots like those that I kinda want to play Shogi, Go and Mahjong
So sad 
I don’t think that author’s going to give this at least another chapter, but it would deserve it.
A “sequel” where she returns to Japan X years later, both have played more Shogi matches, and both never lost again...so they can start to play together, just for having fun, as the “Shogi couple”.
