I checked the publisher to try to figure out which direction this was headed in before reading (I'm be fine either way but we're talking about two very different stories)—but it's SQEX's Gangan _{(pixiv ver. thereof)}! It could be going anywhere! XD

Somehow that conversely made me happy. It's not terribly relevant to the story itself, I guess.

I thought it would be a manga about a mom who assumes her son is gay because he doesn't have a girlfriend or something and the comedy would be drawn from there. Instead it's just a gay kid that poorly hides his gayness and his understanding mom. The mom is the actual star, since she's hot.
