Ugly Duckling - Ch. 51

Well, WTF is this ending? It didn't explain nothing of the real misteries of the story.

How he has "powers"? What is the book? How can you "write" things in that book? How granpa knew shit all along?

so berry became the new "writer" and his grandfather's gift was the opportunity to bring a character to reality as he brought berry. In the end berry remembered that he was a book character and gave ori the opportunity to find him

oh it finally ended !!! i've been waiting so long omg thank you for translating this ! the ending seems so.... anticlimactic ? ehhhh

I've been following this manhwa for the longest while and to see it end makes me feel sad, but happy. Bittersweet is the word.

Absolut no idea what happened, how it happened or whether I like it or not... lol

I finally got around to reading this and it seems like I always end up finding the best of thing's to read at the worst of times. I loved the story and even though it pulled me through many emotions the sleepless night I read it in its entirety I wish to always come back to read this for how amazing it was to me ❤️

Well, I understand the ending, but I think it could've been better?
I feel like a lot is missing.
Still, I'm glad they reunited!
It feels bittersweet now that it's ended.
I will forever cherish this webtoon though!

That was great but can I get a bit of an explanation/epilogue of how she was there at least what happened after...

Surely a good melodrama. But I don't get the overall setting. Like, is the male lead some kind of deity who oversees the world? Or he's just a regular human, while it is Ori who is a character from a story? How did Ori show up at their mansion in the end then?

Okay, so from what I gathered, Beryl is the og ugly duckling, and his grandpa was the hunter. I'm assuming the grandpa brought him (a character, probably originally the swan) to life and was setting him up to take over his ability to travel through books?? And then Ori became the next ugly duckling (figuratively) and was taken out of the book with Beryl's book?

Or maybe they're all real people but Beryl teleported to another dimension under the guise of a story but then she used the link between his book and the one she gave him to teleport to him?? Which means the whole duckling thing is just a figure of speech that emulates both of their situations? Idk I'm confused I get they wanted to leave it open-ended but it was a little too open-ended for my brain
