If this is a sequel, why is it ignoring the events of the previous story? Ji-Soo already confessed to Jin-Ho, in front of Hae-young. Did they retcon shit for the sake of padding the narrative, or because they believed that the readers may not have read the first, or is the larger issue of not paying enough attention to the original?
