update messed up chapter reading for me

no matter the manga, no matter new chapter or old all I get is this:

The new reader doesn't support IE11 due to compatibility issues with some of the functions it uses. If you wish to use the new reader, unfortunately you will have to switch to a newer browser. Otherwise, you can switch to the legacy reader in your profile settings and continue reading on the site.
