Started 11 years ago, released only 12 volumes... so one volume a year, more or less.

That's actually worse release schedule than Berserk which started 31 years ago and has 40 volumes, meaning a volume and 1/3 every year on average. And I'm almost sure it was much faster during the first 2 decades or so, before Miura started taking months of breaks and hiatuses.
