I'm not sure if Lalo actually bet solely on the 3-10 combination though

@Lithe Seems that way. Him looking at the stars every time and the sextant that's lying on the grass on the page before definitely points to this. The theory that Robert K lost intentionally in order to use the knowledge of the island's location to Lalo's advantage is looking very likely.

These two are both monsters. To make so much BIOS in just a few days... Now we'll have to see how BK intends to catch up to Lalo in terms of Level, since they're mostly even in terms of money. The only advantage BK has is that he still has Kyara and Marco on his side, while Lalo seemingly lost his main violence.

I would argue Lalo didnt lose his main violence, since that is probably Jonglyo. Keep in mind Kyara had to play a cat and mouse game with Jonglyo for days (he was hurt, but still), while Robert K was more of an afterthought.

Id say Jonglyo is the muscle of the IDEAL group, with Robert K being not only strong but also smart, thus why Lalo calls him his Ace.
On another hand, Caracal was supposed to be Lalo´s right hand man, so there is that. I feel the advantage would have been too big then.

@belkrax Hm, I suppose that's true. Jonglyo does seem to be stronger than Robert K, given how easily he lost (assuming it wasn't on purpose). Also, we can probably assume that Lalo himself can fight at least a bit, given his build. But still, BK has Kyara and Marco, so I think he'd still have the advantage in terms of violence. They're pretty much one of the two strongest characters in the entire manga, if not the two strongest. At least so far.

+ 750k bios from double win betting ticket (1500 bios * 500 odds modifier)
+ - various bios with random bets and betting tickets


Lalo
+ 1.5mil bios double win betting ticket (3000 bios * 500 odds modifier)
- 100k bios losing personal bet with Usogui
+ - various bets before colosseum but according to Lalo during personal bet, he is out of bios
+ - Exiled Robert K with hidden agenda

Looks like Lalo is ahead for now unless Usogui is later shown having more than one betting ticket on the 3-10 doublewin in later chapters.

The sextant shown reminds me of the movie "Escape Plan" where Lalo tries to determine the islands position and get more allies to bruteforce their way to the island and cause a revolution.

I'm glad Lalo is living up to the hype. Not only is he calculating his own location, but probably had contingencies for both if Robert K won or lost. We're at the final boss tiers with Lalo and Hachina and it shows.

I also like the differences in strategies. Lalo already spent a large amount of bios to up his class, while Usogui is still a slave but is carrying a ton of it and doling it out to the slave group. Usogui seems to be raising the other slaves up with him, while Lalo might be relying more on his own men and the other citizens.

As an aside it's funny when people don't really take the bait on Baku's trash talk. Suteguma and Lalo brushing him off has been amusing.
