Usogui - Vol. 35 Ch. 376 - Festival Of The War

Don't you give me that thumbs up...

I will never forget that, and it could be that my sense of humor is shit, but I found that hilarious.

Page 13 is also so damn cool.

I thought last chapter was a perfect chapter to end the batch on, but this one is pretty good too. BK said that they'd start with Shoudo for Plan B but now he's saying that they'll dominate the Outlaws. Maybe he'll focus on Outlaws near Shoudo? (Although this area is supposed to be neutral) Or perhaps he'll move on to Shoudo after conquering the Outlaws. Also: RETURN OF THE KARIUME! That's great. That line about BK wanting to devour especially when things are going just as planned reminds me of the time when Kyara said that Baku liked to tease his opponents when things are going as planned. I'm surprised Priest Cameo still is getting manipulated by BK, despite Hachina having conquered the Fortress. But I guess he stil completed the mission anyway so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise. BK is always planning something. I'm excited to see what happens next! Thank you for the batch!

That Kaji scene was actually great hahaha. And dumbass Marco trying to participate too in the Kyara sumo event.

Come on guys, don't litter. Keep your drug smuggling, organ harvesting, slaving island clean.

This festival is terrifying, and Kaji's even lamp-shading how depressing events are about to get. I love Kyara and Marco practicing before the event, and then Marco really wanting to square off against Kyara, their dynamic is great. I wonder if Lalo or Arata has people dangerous enough to warrant them teaming up to fight against, either as a 1vs2 (doubtful), or a 2vs2.

Perpes on board then? I kinda wish we could see more of Lalo's path like how we get to Baku, but I guess there's only so much panel space.

This was a solid place to end.

Thanks for this batch, as always!

Now that Usogui got the kariume, we all know he's basically invincible.
Too bad for you, Lalo. You were a good villain, but unless you've poisoned the plums beforehand or something, your loss is settled.

On a more serious note, the scene with Kaji got me wondering... That Chisato girl is still waiting for her phone, isn't she? That would be cool if she appears again in this arc, maybe alongside Referee Mogami. At least, I hope that her existence and the fact that Marco dismantled her phone will lead to something at some point.
Random theory: Misato is a double agent working for some enemy related to Lalo, and her phone was a spying device.

Thank you for the batch as always, Team Duwang! Seriously, I speak for all of us when I say you spoil us with your hard work and this type of release schedule.

Fine dammit, i yield, Kaji's time of popularity has come, i didn't wanted to admit it, but i guess things has changed for him.

Ooooh, and there i was convinced that Lalo was out of the picture and Baku was going to focus on taking down the leader, of course not, this was he gets to fuck Lalo and grow his forces for the eventual clash with Hal, what a good move.

@Sinful_egg
No, we'll start again soon! 😁

@Jonui
That theory reminds me, way back at the Mt. Fuji arc, Lalo somehow got the leader's cell number to talk to him. Maybe he indeed had a double agent within Kakerou that allowed him to get it, that should definitely come into play this arc. Would definitely be interesting if the phone being dismantled was more than just a gag.

@catx3

My thinking on that is we already know Fukurou is with Ideal, it would make sense as the senior member of Kakerou he might have had access to Leader's cell or known/be in favor with someone that would get it to him. To be honest I had almost forgotten that he basically cold-called Leader during the Hangman arc.

i love this chapter way more than i'd like to admit it, just seeing them act "normal" is so nice LOLOL

I got so emotional seeing them all together

I'm pushing it but I really they all make it to the end. I'm so scared of losing Marco and/or Kyara
