Hmm the more i watch this the more i feel like Askelad is Thorfins final form if he goes down the dark side. so blinded by revenge that all ends are worth the means.

if you think about it, if he does end up killing Askelad wont he just end up going after guy that sent askelad to kill Thors in the first place. A never ending spiral of revenge.
