The fact that he's suddenly turned off just because she likes anime, games, manga, novel, or cartoon in general (imagine a western girl as a counterpart who likes Spongebob, maybe Spiderman comics, games like dating sims or some general games, and then suddenly he's like nope). Not blaming the guy since they're just high school, but I honestly doubt it's true love. More like a lust (which is perfectly normal considering he's just undergone puberty). But if they do be dating and the guy isn't actually loving, but just due to lust, it's not gonna hold out for long.

@Triparadox Anyone would be turned off if you find out that the girl you like is faking personalities. Besides, the guy has a type of girl that he likes and her otaku personality isn't definitely the one. But I do think he's is weird for trying to kiss someone who's not even his girl
