At the beginning I was annoyed at the mc for longing for her past love when it was her who chose the het life but I guess it’s sad and realistic in some way. Anyway if she left the other girl because she thought their relationship was abnormal then she literally doesn’t deserve to get back with her, pink/red hair girl deserves better.

I honestly understand yellow hair POV. People often don't appreciate something they've had from the start.

In the end, she dated one girl for so long but wondered if the pastures would be greener if she followed a 'normal life' and had a family (and probably was under social pressures from ppl like her parents for this). Once she had a 'normal' family life for a while, she could finally realize that what she felt for the pink haired girl was true love and now looks back on those times...
Of course, not enjoying sex with your significant other is ALWAYS a big red flag (unless they just suck at sex lul). So she probably should have got the hint SOONER that she liked the other girl, but well, denial is a thing...RIP husband that never received wife's true affections.

@yagami_liedto OoF yes, I skimmed over the 'two mothers' part. I didn't catch it, but that doesn't mean that the rest of what I said was moot, because what was in parentheses was only giving an example to a kind of societal pressure she might face. There are plenty of others. Who knows, maybe there was a problem with the two mothers who adopted her, or maybe she had a harder time growing up if people knew she had two mothers. Societal pressure could still come into play as long as the majority of society has hetero relationships and there is some kind of bias against it.

And it wasn't a rant, it was just thoughts on why yellow hair might have chosen that life. Obviously I don't know the reason because I've only read the first chapter
Who knows. MaYbE the reason she did it was just a DUmB mistake, and maybe she's just DUmB but I didn't know that because I didn't catch that specific phrase used to describe her while reading lol
