This is yuri, which I love. It's by Amano Shuninta, who can be very good. I hated it. Too many horrible people doing horrible things and too many other people not calling them on it, which for some people is no doubt called "realism".

Essentially celebrates being horrible, with many characters you'd only find a in a manga, most growing to be more horrible or more accepting of their inner apathy for everyone else.

It does venture into the nature of lust with a lot of discussion around that along with open relationships, cheating and participating in porn. But becomes very weird to mix it with characters who are just too unbelievable, like a character who sleeps so much she clearly must be suffering from some kind of disease. Feel like it ultimately just becomes more of a vehicle for people to be horrible to each other while you would expect there to be some kind of positive growth to come out from that to save it, it just kind of falls flat. With characteres often starting off worse from the start.

I think this is ultimately more of a feel-gooder for people who know they're horrible and that it's perfectly fine to be horrible. I don't.

It's not bad but it was hard to follow. Probably it is just me, but I think there are too many characters in this for a 13 chapter long manga.

Tbh, I really very much enjoyed this. Yes, over half the cast does very bad things to another character, but their flaws are presented organically in a way that is neither indulgent or parody. And in some cases, these flaws are too much to reconcile with even if you love the other person. I'm definitely going to give this another read in the future.

This was the only Amano work that I hadn’t read and wasn’t planning on because of the comments about the characters being horrible to others but at the end I did read it and it was an okay read, I’m glad it did ended up well for most of them.

Honestly.

My stance is that Maasa is best girl. Fuck the rest. Kinda interesting, as I normally are the "crazy girl" type and tend to hate the "rich girl" and the usual connotations that come with this kind of characters. May be a bias because everyone else is essentially a bad person by comparison. AND THAT'S THE POINT.

But the thing is... In real life this 7 girls wouldn't talk to each other after all that stuff. At least they shouldn't, not on my experience. So I'll choose to read this as a cautionary tale of what NOT to do. In fact, I have girl friends that have been in similar if not more complicated situations than the ones portrayed here... So, I'm finding it hard to separate fiction from reality. I've never been able to offer proper advise tho, yet I find myself stating really clearly "Why don't you like... Talk about it clearly before shit hits the fan?" like I had any power over that... but if they did, this wouldn't be as entertaining. If I wanted fluffy fluff today, I wouldn't be here.

I was not expecting to even write this comment. Can say I had a great time... Feeling stuff. That's the most important thing about fiction.

I might enjoy it a little. Feeling like shit. And it's recomforting to know that I'm not the only one somehow.

Well, anyway Maasa is the best girl and her cute and fun relationships with Meru turned out to be my favorite part of the story. I worried about Meru and her future.
Overall i really enjoyed this manga.

Lmao this is probably one of the most frustrating things to read. None of the characters are likeable at all. Let alone redeemable. Meru and Remi, especially Remi, are at the top for biggest trash. It's as if none of the characters have any common sense or back bone. Avoid people like this and save yourself your mental and energy.
