@NamelessSoldier This doesn't take place in the past, it takes place in some other world that somehow becomes a religion in his own. And also somehow had some of this race end up on earth too, which granted doesn't make sense for shit but still the premise is they're different worlds, I mean heck the series title.

So in theory yeah maybe he could somehow get "how to build a phone" into early religious teachings, though it seems 50/50 on what gets transferred into teachings, easier for him to personally bring shit here than influence the other way.
