What happens if you mark a series as 'Complete', but then it gets a new chapter?

When you mark it as complete, all chapters are marked as 'Read'. So when a new chapter comes out, is the new chapter automatically marked as read, or will it stay unread? Will I still see this new chapter in my follows? And will the series automatically switch from 'Completed' to 'Reading'?

Currently wondering if I should mark the ongoing series I'm following as 'Completed' or 'Reading' once I've finished all the chapters to date.

I too often wonder this but I'm pretty sure once you mark it complete it will not show up in your follows. If the series is ongoing you should just leave it as reading.
