?? Aphasia? There are at least 3 kinds but which one exactly? So far Ryu-ban hasn't shown signs of aphasia considering his previous appearances. Wonder what it's significance is.

I like how our heroine is portrayed to be scared shitless like any normal person and her still suffering from it, showing her chipped nail which obviously shows she has anxiety (nail-biting). This makes it a hurdle for the romance to develop and tells me this story is gonna be another slow-burn.

Scarlet: You can recover from aphasia so it’d still make sense if it didn’t seem like hot emperor’s cousin was suffering from any sort of language impairment in the current time period. However, it’s caused by physical trauma (and degenerative diseases in some cases), not emotionally traumatic events. I’m going to assume it was a small mistake in translation, the death of his parents wouldn’t cause him to randomly develop aphasia.
