I’m kind of tired of her trying to escape back to her own world, to be honest. Her life was crap there with a crappy job, no respect, no family, and no friends. It makes no sense for her to be so desperate to go back.

@ marsbars you know that saying "Better the devil that you know"? Our empress life before was sucky, but she knew how to deal with it, how to move in society and still has the hope to get a better work or find friends one way or another, while in this other world, despite the luxury and the good food and the good looking cast, all the people she knows is volatile and violent, she doesn't know the underlying rules and codes, and literally any of them could off her in a whim. Her life before was not nice, but the current one is flat out dangerous, the proverbial golden cage with free guillotine as a bonus. I would try to escape too.
