Well I don't know why many people hate Shiho, personally I like her character and this chapter clearly depicts that she want aki to recognise her and why she only cares about that when she talked with Himari that being in band is not really fun and this chapter she even sees herself no match for yori in akis eyes, I guess even though she is better at signing that doesn't make her nasty remarks okay. And her being in story even adds more depth to Aki,s character when at the beginning It was bland to even call the characters main love rival when she didn't even put any effort but now with Shiho saying that
Aki digs deep into her actions and what to come which makes it even more interesting though if aki and Shiho are gonna end up I would rather want aki to actually develop feeling and not just "ah I got rejected so I guess I'll settle with you"
