Goblin Slayer from Goblin Slayer has his dense moments.

It's not that he's stupid.
He can be cunning, as long it's about killing goblins anyway.
He's just an extreme pragmatist focussed on 1 goal in life.
And understanding emotions won't help with killing all goblins.
