Why Shouldn't a Detestable Demon Lord Fall in Love?! - Ch. 2

plot twist, the demon lord's father was the harbinger and got banished back to his world making his son the new harbinger XD

yaba makes a good point. dying kinda gets in the way of forcing a woman to give up working in an orphanage and becoming your love slave. unless you have necromancy and low standards.

A little on the nose and awkward with the "I love family" angle, but a wholesome premise nonetheless.

"The only she could keep herself safe would be to marry an overwhelmingly strong man and have him protect her for the rest of her life."

I mean... that’s word for word what happened, or at least about to happen.

yes! demon lord protects his new family with violence! great, and by how he made it sound, it looks like the goblin was a summoned creature or a familiar if thats the case it makes sense, he could just use it to scare her, knowing she wasnt in real danger, and is plan could have worked.

@Yabaibunni I think the goblin was under his control the whole time, like how she explained summoned creature can be controlled.
But that means that poor goblin was innocent, he was forced to attack, regardless of his will. RIP goblin, you probably had a family.

Anima is anything but detestable and the three of them deserve this new family.

Unfortunately, judging by their ages, he might come to outlive his family in the end.

It was supposed to be, you say? And that's exactly what happened! Nice planning mwhahaha

BTW, where's the other child? I thought she had two ATM.

@Tersione, can I ask where's your profile pic from? 🤩
LoL @justforthelulz, perfect meme xDD

@Pocky8 if you want I can tell you about the other child based on what's in the light novel. It's a mild spoiler, but I'll mark it anyways:

The other child, Myuke, is a bit older than Marie and is currently away from home earning money for the orphanage as a hunter. She appears a bit later in the story (Probably in 2-3 chapters I'd guess)

Oooh, I see. Thank gods it wasn't a plothole or something lost in translation (a child lost in translation :'D) Thank you, @deeplamateur !
