I read the novel and so far this is following the novel exactly. I got the impression the author forgot about her brother. It happens a few times, not just with her brother. The author is kind of scatterbrained.

currently, the plotline doesn't exist/it's poorly written. Idk if it's because we're only on the 3rd chapter, but???girl, your brother? And if this man is the Emperor and he has the ability to make a pocket dimension, he could've literally gotten your brother right then probably. Also?? he's okay with the fact that you were sold into slavery on the whim of an ex-boyfriend/ex-friend? What kind of man is this.
